Sweet Teriyaki Bake Tofu
1 Block 14 oz Extra-Firm Tofu
4 Tablespoon soy sauce
2 Tablespoon rice vinegar
1 Tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon Brown sugar
Direction
Drain the tofu. Lay some on paper towels. Put heavy pots or cans on top of a paper towel. This is great so there is pressure on the tofu which helps remove excess water into the paper towel.
Cut the tofu into 1/2 - 1 inch cube.
In a small bowl add in soy sauce, rice water, oil, garlic powder, and brown sugar and whisk well.
Add in tofu, gently mix the tofu and let the tofu Mirante for 15 - 30 minutes.
(It's best to do this in a nonstick pan). Arrange the tofu on the baking pan.
Bake at 425 for 15 minutes, flip each of the tofu bites (you can brush teriyaki juice onto the tofu and return to the oven and bake for another 15 - 20 minutes until the tofu reaches your desired level of crispiness.
Serve Warm
