Haitian Meatball

Haitian Meatballs


2 White Slice Bread 

1/4 cup Milk 

1 lb Ground Beef (You can use any ground meat)

1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice 

1 Tablespoon Kuisine Kreyol Kreyol Spice 

1 Teaspoon Seasoning Salt (opt) 

1/4 cup Colored Bell Pepper (Minced) 

2 Garlic Cloves (Minced) 

1 Egg (Beaten) 

1 Tablespoon Kreyol Epis 

1 Small Onion (Minced) 

2 Tablespoon + 1/2 Cup Flour 

3 - 4 Tablespoon Oil




Directions 


In a small bowl add in milk and sliced bread.  Let it soak. Remove the corner of the bread. Set aside. 

In a large bowl, add in ground beef with lemon juice and mix well. Add in Kreyol Spice, seasoning salt, bell pepper, garlic, beaten eggs, Haitian Epis, onion, soaked bread, and 2 tablespoon flour. 

Combine all ingredients together. 

 On a plate, put 1/2 cup flour.  With an ice cream scooper, scoop the ground beef and cover with flour. Roll the ground beef and put it on a plate. 

Put it in the freezer for 15 minutes until it is firm. 

In a large saucepan, add in oil, cook the meatballs 6- 7 minutes on each side and until they are brown on the outside.
